Right from the beginning of our son’s care petit Hamilton have shown professionalism and knowledge in how best to support our son . We are always greeted with a friendly, family orientated welcome that puts you at ease. Over the last year we have seen our son develop both with his communication skills and social skills as he has made friends and explored all the vast activities on offer daily. When I walk out the door there is never a concern on my mind, knowing he will have a great day of fun, learning ans exploration. Couldn’t recommend the centre enough!

As a first time mum, you’re not always exactly sure what you are looking for in a centre. Stepping inside Petite Hamilton for the first time, I instantly felt that it was a safe space for my child to flourish. Baby Boulevard is a excellent room with great equipment and an outdoor area for the kids to explore. My daughter adores her educators, Miss Heather and Miss Issy. I appreciate the kindness shown by all staff, including the Centre Manager, Kate who truely is a delight. I’m so happy that I chose this centre for my precious baby girl and look forward to seeing her grow from a baby to a toddler in such a safe and happy environment. I cannot recommend this centre enough!

We have two children enrolled at Petit Journey Hamilton and would never change. Both our girls love all the educators and we absolutely love Kate the director. Kate is so caring and passionate about everything she does. She genuinely cares about the children and families. She always tries to accommodate us with last minute days if we need them also. My girls love Bec, Chelsea and Jade and I know they are loved and cared for while in care.

My daughter has been going to the Petit ELJ Hamilton centre continuously since 31/10/2017 and I can’t even find enough praising words for the staff at this centre. The focus on the children’s’ well being, individual and intellectual growth is exemplary. Individual needs are always seen to with great attention and beautiful friendships are supported! We have been recommending and will keep recommending Petit ELJ Hamilton to people with young children we meet in our daily life. It is a well deserved recommendation, too!

My son is happy and excited to go to Petit every morning. He looks forward to the creative activities, singing songs and reading new stories with his teachers and friends. The staff have a passion for what they do and that shows in the children’s enthusiasm to learn new things. The environment is a very happy one. We are very happy with Petit Early Learning Journey Northshore Hamilton!

My child has been in the care of Petit (nursery) since the beginning of this year & I can safely say I have nothing but praise and positive things to say about the care we have received from Miss Lisa and Miss Heather. Both are incredibly passionate about what they do and the smile on my daughters face each day when she sees them both just how much she loves them and what a wonderful job they do!

What can i say!! After a horriffic experience at a previous childcare center, finding Petit Hamilton was a absolute god send!! My son had separation anxiety quite badly but with the staff at petit he feels safe and secure to run off and play with his friends and no tears (from him or I). The center is warm and has a great atmosphere with the staff always saying hello/goodbye and making you feel welcome . The children are happy and always kept busy. With a massive play area and boats tooting their horns as they cruise past you cant go wrong with petit Hamilton!

We have had a very positive experience with Petit at Hamilton – always a relaxed vibe and Kate is fantastic. My son has been in the nursery with Miss Lisa and Heather and is now in Burrows Lane and he hugs his teachers when he arrives.

When Neil first started with Petit, we were very apprehensive as this was a big change, right from new country, new culture and new teachers. We are very glad that we chose this center as his first school, because Petit has accommodated Neil’s each and every need and at the same time groomed him with all the basic etiquettes. It has been an excellent place for our child, he loves going to school everyday and changes that we could see in him are far beyond any words, especially the language. He has made best buddies and has lot of fun at the center, he loves the pool parties!!!! I would also like to thank Lorin and other educators for all the good work. We thank you all again for making this transition very smooth for us (Neil in particular), Special thanks to Ms. Cindy(he adores her :-)) to make the day care part of his daily life. All the very best, keep up the great work!!!!

I was forced to pull my 2 year old from care here and take time off work for 2 weeks until I found better care as their educator to child ratio was horrible. In the 4 times I was in the Centre (picking up and dropping my daughter off for 2 days) I only witnessed one occasion that they were up to scratch. For 2 yr olds it’s a 5 child to 1 educator ratio. I witnessed a 23 to 2, 10 to 1 and the 3rd time they were one educator short. My main concern is if they are willing to do this in peak times when parents are picking up and dropping off children what are they doing when the parents are not there. I did wait around each occasion for at least 5 minutes (one occasion was 70 minutes which was her first day) to make sure someone hadn’t popped to the bathroom or something. I reported my concerns on the first day and was met with ‘we had children turn up early’ I doubt they had 13 children show up at least 70 minutes early and if they did that is more than enough time to call staff in early. My daughter has been in care since 5 months and I’ve never seen anything like this circus. It’s a pity they also felt it was right to charge me for 2 weeks notice for taking her out of care that didn’t even meet legal standard. I have reported this to the correct authorities as well.

Hi Danielle, we appreciate your concern and take your comments very seriously. After an investigation by review of the rolls, staff timesheets and discussions with the Centre Director and staff we are confident that the Centre was operating within ratio, abiding to the 1:5 ratio and under the roof policy within our Northshore Hamilton Centre and specifically our Darling Drive studio. We can confirm there were three educators who were not in the typical Petit polo shirt assisting and caring for children aged 2-3 years which understandably leads to difficult identification of staff. We have taken your feedback on board and going forward all staff who are counted in the ratios will be required to wear Petit polo shirts to allow for easy identification. We are sorry to hear that Petit was not the right fit for you and your family and our Centre Director will be in touch to arrange a refund of the fees in credit since commencement of your booking. Once again we appreciate you expressing your concerns.

Would not trust Lisa from the babies room to take care of my children ever!! Her work ethics and ignorance towards children are so below standard it’s scary to think she still has a job with Petit Northshore. Pulled my children out because management completely disregarded my feedback.

Our children have been apart of the Petit Hamilton family since 2018. Petit is a second home for our kids – the educators are caring, kind and invested in the childrens education and well being. We are constantly impressed with what our kids are learning, the additions to the environment (animals, new equipment and programs) and the food they are eating each day. We love our Petit family!
