No one should have to live like this, I reported this bathroom being dirty on a weekend in Jan. Not 1 staff Member did anything, so I no longer go here. I even changed my address with SS so I no longer get mail here. This is a gross place to be, I’ve found other places too go to stay warm. Y’ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF Y’ALL SELF’S.

I wanted to give a special thanks to your staff at the day shelter. You’re professional people and truly do help folks in need. A man there named Will deserves a raise 👏 he went above and beyond to help me out. Also the women who helped me establish my identity back. God will reward them I am sure! Thank you for everything you do .

I have toured this place a few times and taught a class here, It always seems clean and cheerful. I think this is the only shelter who allows for pets, which is one reason someone would choose to sleep on the streets rather than a shelter. Good work.

The grounds are vary trashy, and sometimes people get out of hand so there is onsite police presence. The first caseworker I had was terrible, the second was good just not there long enough. The third has been awesome! She got me in apartment finally! Now I just need furniture lol!

This place needs to be shut down it’s a haven for druggies and the area around this place looks like a dump You can’t help these people because all they want is a hand out I’ve tried to hire some of the people that hangs around this place and was told by several of the guys I offered jobs to that they didn’t want to work they do ok mooching and as I was leaving one of the guys that turned me down tried to Mooch money from me. Most of these people gets SSI or something like that most of these people choose to live this way but one thing I did notice is most of the people I seen around this place are native Americans the tribes make billions from their casinos and they claim to be helping their people?

This place is a joke. I’ve been trying to get ahold of my sister’s payee to get money for her rent now two weeks to no avail. Apparently everyone is on vacation. Nothing in place for any type of assistance if the payee isn’t there. Just a sad mess!!!

All the Homeless alliance does is steal the homeless money with 15 board members and 20 employees that never answer the phone or are never there. Most of the curbside chronicle Vendors have a home and are liers and thiefs that hate homeless people and do it to get tax free money about $250.00 a day they spend on DRUGS. Homeless Alliance is a racketeering scheme. SCUM Bag rich stealing from the poor.

One of the main homeless hubs… Also known as “The Day Center”. I visited in an attempt to track down my recently pilfered iPad air 2 that alerted me of it’s whereabouts. No success tho… Did meet a fine, upstanding young female that was my sidekick for 24 hours.

They only help if You’re on the streets. The lady suggested that I lie and say I slept outside last night…. I was told to go there and get help for Someone needing to get into a home. We couldn’t in good conscience, go back and lie to get help so We are still searching.

These folks are a godsend to the homeless community. The housing assistance takes a long time to get processed, when we as homeless don’t really have a lot of time. They do God’s work and are doing the best they can I’m sure. The other resources they have access to and can provide the info to find, is saving lives I’m sure of it.

It’s a place to go for food and a shower and to get mail if you cannot afford a p.o. box I use it myself I’ve even gotten Amazon packages here and yes there are those that will ask you for stuff bit not everyone here is doing nothing with themselves I personally have used their resource and while I’m still homeless I now have a reliable vehicle because I was able to eat and shower here and save up and improve myself I understand not everyone is doing that but if a place like this helps everyone and gives them the opportunity to better themselves then it’s worth it even if only a few actually try the service provided can give someone like me a shower and food to help better themselves

I can’t speak to how the employees treat these people but I went out there with some blankets and homeless bags full of necessities that I put together. I handed out everything I had to the individuals outside and never even made it inside. It was cold outside and I was wearing a winter coat. Going to buy some mylar blankets for them and find a way to bring them some warm meals. There are drug users here so it’s important to not be complacent. In the end, it’s local people that need help. It’s been a rough year for many people but we as humans need to do better at helping others.

Most people don’t know what it’s like to be a homeless they see you on the streets as they drive by they think you’re a panhandler begging for money to buy drugs or alcohol but there are some 35 to 39% that do need the money for help. Homeless alliance is a good place I found my way there by pure luck back in 2014. It’s a starting point for people that have lost their home lost their way have no one to turn to this is where they can go to get help 5 days a week Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this is where they can get help department of human services social security make free phone calls clean up take meals at lunch time and breakfast and maybe a little bit of supply there is another place they can go to also and that’s the Jesus center located in Sheridan nearby Jesus house they can get clothes there on certain days if they don’t have clothes. They can also get a hot meal there at lunch time and dinner time

They can appear nice and helpful when they feel like it, but stay the hell away from this place unless you are very desparate. It is full of sick, twisted, evil malcontents and drug addicts. Even the staff have major issues that keep them working at a place like this. Do not be involved or support this place in any way. It is where the worst of the city go because they have absolutely nowhere else. You are taking your life and health in your hands to talk to anyone there. It is not a safe place. Period.

The Homeless Alliance is providing awesome service with the little resources they have. I saw homeless people camping everywhere. A homeless man told me breakfast and Lunch are provided daily in addition to free showers, use of computers and sometimes free transportation. While sitting in my car I said a short prayer for the staff and those that go there for help. Homelessness continues to be an endless problem. I believe the workers there are Chosen People of God. They deserve our help all the time. God bless them.

Homeless alliance helps some of the city’s most vulnerable people to get help with day to day basic needs and then more. They have a day center open Mon-Fri 630 am-400 pm for people to get in out of the weather, to shower watch television attend art class, Bible devotion, look for employment using computers and other resources, get medical care and medications, referrals, clothing etc. They provide breakfast and coffee, lunch, and a snack. At closing they offer bottles of water and hand out thermos when available. They have kennel areas for client’s pets as well and give cat or dog food when they have it available through donors.

LANDLORDS BEWARE!!! Working with this place has been an absolute nightmare. We rented a house to someone from here. They were busted twice within 30 days for dealing crack cocaine out of the house. Had 10 people living in the house. City sent a warning to clean it up or we’d get a fine. We evicted. But every homeless person in the neighborhood breaks in daily to squat. We’ve had 2 people arrested for breaking in there in a 5 day period. Not saying all people are like this. But I’ll never work with them again. Only takes one bad apple to ruin it for everybody.

Only felons would search homeless for weapons as part of their front. Felons must not legally be employed for homeless so-called services. I know that these localities illegally hire felons and allow felons to do their community service illegally at homeless day centers and shelters. This is because I have experienced a lot of shelters etc. and read some of the illegal literature. The state statutes forbid hiring felons and voluntary service as social workers, clinical psychologists, cops etc.

To much drama. Everyone fighting. And do dog and pony show. It makes the people that go there uncomfortable. They look at you like your just a poor pathetic and uneducated bumb.

Volunteering to feed the homeless. Temple B’Nai Israel does this at least monthly. For filling a mitzvah (commandment) to care for your fellow man and woman.
