Decathlon Burlington

Great service, good selection. One of my friends has been raving about Decathlon so I decided to stop in on a camping trip when my sleeping bag broke. Happy to say I was able to upgrade it and also splurged on a silk liner at a very reasonable price. I also came out of there with a tent that is perfect for one woman plus dog because Gunther and the other sales associates were so incredibly helpful and the return policy is solid. I won’t be returning anything though and will be back for more gear soon.

This is going to be my go to place for anything includes sports! They literally had me leaving with almost $400 with almost 10 things! I initially came in with the intention to buy one thing I came out with a handful of stuff! For two reasons. Their prices are unmatchable and amazing. (I hope it remains like that) They have literally EVERYTHING you can imagine. Will definitely go back

Good for sports lover with fair price. You can find everything for all sports activities , except you are a professional player. Lots of fun for kids to play when parents can enjoy their shopping hours, such as wall climbing , roller skating and table tennis.

First time at the store tonight looking for a bike. Great selection and the store is so impressive. They have everything for outdoors. Plenty of staff working also. I dealt with Juan who was in the bike department. He was excellent! Friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and helped me select the perfect bike for myself. Great buying experience and will definitely be back!

I originally gave the store 1 star, because I needed this issue to get management’s attention: “Trying to find the store, Google navigates me to an empty part of the mall. Tried calling – no option for customer service. Chose a department, rang a few times, then the system hangs up on me. Call back, try a different department, same thing. If I can’t even get customer service to GET TO YOUR STORE, do I really want to spend money there?” After calling the friend who suggested I go and asking for directions, I found the store (it’s around back). I’m not much of a sports person, so I went in thinking I’d be there for a few minutes and leave. 2 hours and $500 later, I walked out a very happy customer. The management takes their reviews seriously. They have fixed all the issues that people were giving one starts for before. The staff were super helpful, friendly and present. Hopefully they fix the issue of not being able to reach anyone in store, by phone. I’ve changed my review to a 5 star, because that was what they truly earned (once I found the place).

Amazing store for all your sports needs. Such a wide variety of products! No name brands but the prices are extremely reasonable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. So many items to test out and kids love it. The check out process is the best and easiest I have ever seen!!

Love this place! Very reasonable prices and helpful/knowledgeable staff. There’s a cool rock climbing wall you can try too! The self checkout is really cool, you just put your stuff in a little box and it automatically scans it, it’s very fast and convenient. They have a massive selection

It is a very good sports and outdoor activity equipments store. You can find anything you need. Most important, the service is great. Store customer rep. are friendly and very helpful. Abbey is a great rep.. She helps me to solve my problem. I’ve shared my experience with friends.

Great store with great staff. The prices are reasonable along with quality. Haven’t bought anything higher end so hard to say, but clothes and small sports equipment have been excellent. Son is currently in the sportball class and it has been great. Very happy to see some actual competition in the sports market in Ontario.

I’ve been to several locations in Barcelona, Azores, Paris, and they do not disappoint. The employees are super friendly (I talked to around 6 employees) and very diverse in their backgrounds and went out of their way to help. I’ve never seen that any store, not MEC, not SportChek. I’m so thrilled they finally came to Canada and brought their high customer focussed attitude with them. We bought two Bicycles, and bags and bags of accessories. Much cheaper than Amazon and better quality. I just don’t get how they do it.

I always have an amazing time coming to Decathlon. However, this trip was even more exceptional thanks to my man Tim. His excellent manner of service and kindness left a lasting impact and had me smiling for the rest of the day. Truly some passionate and very knowledgeable people working here. Please keep up the great work!

Amazing store! I felt like a kid in the candy store and so did my kids! It’s so nice that there are demo units to try before you buy! Prices are great too!!!

Vanessa & James were absolutely amazing. They helped with loading my vehicle with a table tennis table PLUS when we opened the box to find a slight imperfection they simply went back in , got a new one and took the other away without hesitation. So helpful and polite. So refreshing to have something other than a SportChek and quality from all aspects

I went to Decathlon this morning with my kids and it was a spectacular experience. The friendly team was showing the camping area, target shooting… It has a quality sports products at a very affordable price.

Love this store. Managed to get a bike for curb side pick up. The bike was assembled and tires pumped to the optimal pressure (checked later at home). The staff was nice and helped me loaded into my car with great care. I definitely recommend this place and kudos to the staff who are working there through the pandemic!!!

Went to the new Decathlon store in Burlington. What a neat store. Never really heard about them but apparently are the world’s largest sporting goods retailer. The literally sell everything. It reminds me of Mountain Warehouse. I found the prices to be really cheap. Product quality seems decent enough. If I had young kids, I would go here first.

The store all in all is fantastic, no exception compared to other Decathlon stores. In particular i want to refer to our experience with the bike shop. We brought our son’s bike and we were not sure if there is an appointment, Shivam was very helpful, he went out of his way to finish the bike in one hour and explain in details what is needed. He was a true profressional.

Super excited when the store came to the mall however when I’ve discovered shopping there a couple times now. There is zero customer service this is like the Walmart of sporting goods, which is fine to save money however you’ve got nobody who can help you, or have a conversation about what you could possibly need or advise you on what you should get and when you get to the cash register you do it all yourself. I’m not down for the automated society I like people to aid me in my shopping a little bit.

It’s impossibly cheap. Like impossible impossible which scares me but overall well laid out store that makes it feel smaller than it is ( a good thing) very easy to find your way around. To note you will need to set up a membership and use credit/debit to pay ( the cash out area is really cool)

Massive store! Very wide aisles, clean, super friendly staff and TONS of stuff to choose from. Loved it!! They are organized by sport which is different from what I’m used to in other stores that arrange by item type but it’s just a matter of getting used to it. Loved it!! Will be back soon.

Burlington Store was amazing! The employees are so kind and genuine. My first time visiting and shopping; in each aisle I was greeted by an employee, even passer by employees said hello and made me feel great to be seen. Everyone was helpful, offered suggestions, Laura in the women’s aisle was very helpful, spoke about the store history the brand and offered helpful suggestions. Thomas the (store manager??) was also amazing, he guided us through the checkout process, engaged with other clients, talked about the service offerings and programs, his history with the company (loved talk to the employees who genuinely enjoyed being there on an early Saturday morning) very cheerful and helpful. One of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had ever!!

The staff seem very knowledgeable. The prices are excellent. I think that you can touch all rhe products and try some of them out. The fast checkout system is amazing! Returns were easy and the staff not annoying.

I was at the store today and Mike was very helpful and friendly. I purchased the weight kit and he helped me with everything. Without me asking, he got me a buggy, cashed me out and loaded my car (I thought I could manage, but yah no… I got home and tried to unload and had to piece meal it into the house LOL). It was def a nice surprise because now a days when shopping in other stores, you are rarely even acknowledged. I was so impressed I told my husband! I hope management sees this and gives him recognition.

Amazing sport store. Well organized, staff extra helpful. Self checkouts are great, no need to look for a tag it scans itself just by dropping an item I to the bag. You can choose from different levels of items, beginner intermediate and pro. A little climbing wall, ping pong table and even little area to try out rollerblades or a scooter.

Great prices on sports equipment – I went in for size 3 & 4 soccer balls to take to the Dominican, then went back for small backpacks and snorkelling gear! Clean, well-organized store and very helpful staff, highly recommended for leisure sports gear.

The store is bright, clean and spacious. It was a great experience shopping for skates with very affordable prices. The quality of the items seem to be low to mid tier, however Decathlon should be your one stop shop when picking up gear for a new hobby when you aren’t looking for top of the line equipment.

I ordered a bike from Ottawa they shipped it to Burlington as its closer to me and got the bike in perfect condition and tuned it without charge.both Gents kept checking with me via phone or email… Very professional and honest. Fantastic store! Huge selection of sporting goods. Customer service is amazing. Staff is easy to find and knowledgeable. Haven’t test the products out MUCH yet. However the prices are great, they have a selection of low and higher priced items. Any outdoor sporting goods you need, definitely check them out.

The best place to buy affordable sporting goods and merchandise. You won’t find any leading brands, but the products are pretty decent and very affordable. If you’re trying out a new sport/activity, you can save a ton of money shopping here to get geared up!

LOVE this store. Honestly a hidden gem which is surprising for how big it is because it’s never busy. Incredible prices, great quality, unbelievable customer service. Can’t recommend them enough. Only problem is how much money I spend here.

Huge store! Shelves were fully stocked back in the summer and prices were unbelievably reasonable! We were so impressed the first time that we went back again with friends the following week. Quality is not bad at all.

We had a great experience shopping for kids’ winter boots there this weekend. From the first moment it felt like coming home: comfortable, the store layout is intuitively easy to follow, kids and adults happily playing and trying out sports inventory. We were blessed to meet an amazing consultant there, who helped us out with finding just the right shoes for both kids. If you have more than one kid of the age 5-11, you probably understand how precious is any help when looking for kids shoes 🙂 The lady was an expert, plus she is also a parent and could advise from her own experience as well – this is just priceless, we are so thankful. We walked away with 4 pairs of kids shoes, 2 pairs of snow-pants and a handful of various gloves, hats, socks, and scarves 🙂 The isles are so wide, air conditioning works well, there was no feeling of being out of air or being too hot, as it happens during shopping times quite often. Perfect shopping, thank you!

Big store, great prices. Feels a bit like a cross between MEC and Wal-Mart. Geared to the mass consumer versus specialized shoppers.

As prices sky rocket for name brand exercise equipment this place definitely should be considered, prices are very reasonable and the selection is crazy you can basically get anything for almost any sport your in to. Alot of the displays are very interactive and the whole family can try things out before buying , definitely take a look before you go to the name brand stores it doesn’t make sense to pay ridiculous prices for basically the same clothing with a recognizable logo on it . If you are into exercising for the shear joy of it and you want to look good without emptying your wallet this place is for you .

Really great service…bike department was fantastic. Lots of the fitness clothes were only double and triple xx..but otherwise stock was good. Pricing is really amazing on most items. The best part is the check out…self check out is automatic essentially.. which was a special treat to use. Worth buying an item just to see that!

Nice all around store for any type of activity you can think of. The hiking, running sections are quick good. The quality of the products are pretty good and can match many of the high class items people buy at other retail stores. If you’re looking for a place that is more affordable and you’re new to any expensive activity and need something that looks, feels and the quality is good. This is the place.

Very helpful staff. I think they’re like the Costco of sporting goods. Customer service is excellent right from the moment you enter. You can try a variety of equipment/gears (roller blades, scooter, skateboard, ping pong) and they have the space for it. Prices are great as well!

A wide collection of all item categories and friendly staff. Went in to buy a bike, Maxime was very helpful and Shivam did a good job assembling the bike in the workshop and even helped to load it in our car.

If you’ve never been go. This is the craziest store. So much to see and for so many different sports you don’t normally see in sports stores.

Cheap and affordable sporting store, with a massive selection of different apparel. Offers everything from climbing shoes and camping equipment to equestrian gear and golfing. Major problem with this store is the very apprarant lack of quality of products from wherever they’re sourced from, and staff that seem to do nothing around the store.

I love Decathlon since my time in Europe. They had an amazing Grand Opening event, where they provided water bottles and umbrellas to customers lining up outside to comply with COVID protocol. Sanitizing stations are sprinkled throughout the store and they have an amazing self-checkout system that scans items as you place them in the check out bins. Staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. You will find anything from camping gear to interlocking foam mats, from roller blades to snorkeling equipment, and everything is at very affordable prices. Kids can even try out scooters or roller blades in a very convenient roller rink. Wish I had pics, but we had way too much fun when we were inside to take the time to photograph the store.

I love this store and I’m happy we have it in Canada now. It has mostly everything for so many different sports. Their products’ brand are usually a good option considering the quality and cost. At this store, you can try many things and check the quality of what you are looking for before buying it. I highly recommend a visit there.

Was there on its 1st month opening. It seems to be a store that gears towards the sports associated more with the European genre. I was looking for some basic items and either they didn’t have it or were sold out. Items such as:top rack bike pannier, bike helmet mirror, pickleball paddle (very few in the selection), baseball cleats, canoe paddle, water safety kit. These items were not there do it was a bit disappointing. I am hoping next visit they will have a better Canadian selection available. Though they did have a large equine dedicated area, as with a large golf area. I did find some items for camping. The best Cody items looked to be their clothing. I would go back there for sports clothing.

He has helped me out several times with my bike and gave great responses and information to answer my questions. Was able to get a great value bike here last July while all the other stores around Toronto were out of stock.

I’m very pleased how fast the products were processed and delivered in three days only, over the long weekend ,Victoria’s Day (order placed on Saturday evening, delivered on Tuesday morning). I’m in Toronto btw, Items came from Montreal. It is my first time buying from Decathlon Canada. Excellent experience, great prices, to be very honest I got tire tubes for my bike for a 1/4 of the price comparing to Amazon and Bike stores in Toronto. You got a new loyal customer.

Huge store with wide variety of sports/fitness related products and apparel. Its all house brands but decent quality and amazing prices. They are still getting things in order as some items are OOS and/or have to be manually entered into the POS system for checkout. Will definitely be back.

It was my first visit with my new born and my wife. The store wasn’t very busy and hence I was appalled to see that as my wife was trying to locate products while carrying the new born, none of the staff came to help in finding the right size, product. However, when it was time to 8pm, each one of the staff member was running and asking us to go to cash counter. None of them offered help to see if my wife needed any help or if there was a product they can help find before closing the store. It was just ridiculous to get reminded 4 times in a matter of 2 mins. To add to insult as we sorted our final purchases while holding a 6 month old, there was another push to go to check out by 3-4 staff members. Even then, no one (out of 4 People crowding us) offered help. This was just so selfish and disgusting behavior, I didn’t expect at decathlon. We asked for help in locating swimming cap and the associate just stayed there in silence, no response. When I asked again, he said ‘sorry, I am not from this department’. Before I could react, he just walked away. C’mon if you are not please get me some one who can. Again none of the associate was willing to service the customers. It isn’t too much to ask for associates to help people is need – disabled, pregnant women, people with infants. This is basic human behaviour. I am very disappointed with this kinda behavior

I have been a frequent customer of Decathlon in India, and I have been looking forward to shopping at the store in Canada. Finally visited today at the recently opened store at Burlington and I had an awesome experience. Great products at great prices outdone only by an amazing staff. I was looking for a bicycle for my son, and Ankit went above and beyond in helping us get the right cycle, overturning a few stones on the way to find the last one available. He helped get the accessories lined up, and with help from Pedro who put it all together. Had fantastic support from many others including Nicholas, Dylan and more while shopping for a few other things at the store. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Went to pick up an item curbside. Process was very efficient. There was a mistake with my order which I didn’t realize until I returned home. The staff went above and beyond to correct the mixup as soon as it was brought to their attention- special thanks to Thomas and Alexandra for the excellent customer service. (extremely happy with the purchase as well!)

Although the store is nice and there is a wide selection of clothing and sports equipment, I was not very pleased when I realized that I was charged $25 for a men’s training shorts that was priced at $16 in the store. I picked it up and the wife paid for it at the checkout. We only realized that we were wrongly charged when we got home.

Very good customer service and great staff! The self checkout doesn’t even require you to scan the items. The clearance items did not show the clearance price but the staff applied a discount to fix the situation. The store stocks various sports goods at a decent quality and decent price.

What I love about Decathlon is they don’t just sell existing high-quality sporting labels. And they DON’T “re-sell” cheap “ali-baba”-bought sports products. Apparently they have their own R&D team that takes the BEST features of the leading brand-name products and combines them in in-house designed and exclusively manufactured products, which are offered under their own labels at lower prices than the big brands with little – if any – sacrifice in quality. A convertible shoulder-bag/backpack I bought a while back even won design awards in its own right. So cheaper AND often better than the “originals”! Not to mention their bikes and scooters! One star off for not having more stores!

Short Story-Decathlon has amazing customer service!!! period. Now, The long story-I bought the ST-100 bike from Decathlon in November 2020 for my wife. She found that the bike squeaked very loudly whenever she applied the brakes and that made it very difficult to ride. We called up the Burlington store and spoke to this amazing personnel, Brandon who is a Bike expert. We made an appointment for bike repair and went to the store,.Brandon was at the store waiting for us- mind you, this was after his work hours- as we got delayed and did not reach the store on time- all our fault. But, he was courteous and welcomed us in.He took our bike in, and started checking what the reason of the sound was. Normally, in other stores, we would have ben greeted by a disgruntled personnel who would have complained and whined and not try at all, also we would have had to wait endlessly or roam around, but at decathlon, the other assistants kept us comfortable and we had nice conversations about sports and quality of sports equipment. They actually know what they are talking about. Very knowledgeable. Brandon fixed our bike and also cleaned the tires, and gave us some advice on bike maintenance. Supremely pleased with the service. Thank you Brandon and the team at Decathlon Burlington for making us feel welcome 🙂

The staff are extremely helpful! Although we are COVID and doing only curbside pickup, but they took the time and explained to me the nuts and bolts in my new bicycle I got from Decathlone despite being 4 degrees outside! Amazing customer service and I won’t hesitate to order again from them solely because they make you feel a truly valued customer.

Great store; well laid out with quality selection and prices that are some of the best. However the biggest thing is the amazing staff. They’ll be getting a lot of money in the future 😉

I wish I could give a zero review. I had one of the worst experiences in a retail environment of my life. I was in your store yesterday with my god daughter and she was looking at a pair of shoes. I asked her if she wanted a pair and I guess your employee heard me talking to her. All of a sudden they asked her size and when I said I didn’t know their response was “What kind of father doesn’t know their child’s shoe size”. Is this the way your staff treats it’s customers? I took her out of there right away and spent my money else where. This store is not worth spending your money at if they can’t even hire pleasent staff.

It’s one of the underrated companies out there. I have used their services extensively in EU/Asia. I would love to see their expansion in Canada. The staff is super helpful at this location. I tried picking up stuff as this is only location across GTA right now and quite a bit far from where I live. But the staff and price to quality ratio kinda makes up for the extra effort. I bought the whole home gym equipment from them (whatever was in stock). I would love to see some products come back on stock after the supply chain gets better after the pandemic, and also if you could bring everything that EU stores carry, this would become the goto sports store for everybody.

What a great looking store. It literally has everything from climbing equipment to horse riding paraphernalia. The store is well suited for the mall and was very busy. Although I didn’t interact with staff, they seemed pleasant and the store was clean.

Good quality items at super affordable prices. The equestrian breeches I was especially surprised by how nice they were and significantly less expensive than other stored. I will definitely be back for more!

You get what you pay for, wouldn’t say all the sports gear is great quality but they have some decent things/clothing so I’d go back. It’s a great place to get outdoor gear if you don’t want to spend a ton of money or arw just getting into sport and fitness. Big clean and orderly store, lots of courteous staff around to help.

Decathlon is selling safety equipment lacking modern standard requirements and is trying to convince customers otherwise. Their equine helmets are all certified as EN1384:2017 which is now outdated, and no longer accepted by the European union, British Equestrian, and has never been accepted by Equestrian Canada to our knowledge. These are cheap helmets that lack Canadian certification These cheap helmets are cheap for a reason, as their accreditation is outdated. These helmets lack the required protection to meet current accreditation. Decathlon is currently giving any customer that questions this a letter which states they are accredited by the above standard, and that they are safe, which is 100% incorrect, and goes against current legislation, opening them up to the possibility of lawsuits upon injury, which we will move forward with if we are faced with a situation that requires said response. We urge you to shop elsewhere for your equestrian needs, as many suppliers are up to date and pay attention to current modern safety requirements, as Decathlon obviously take their profits and selling product they were mistaken to shelf much more seriously than customer safety. will never shop here and will continue urging others.

Given the situation this past spring/summer, I among other was having a difficult time locating a bicycle. I stumbled upon this company during my search and patiently waited to order my bicycle when it was in stock. Several weeks went by, but I eventually got one. Within a week, it had arrived at the store for pick-up. Not only was the value excellent, but the customer service exceeded this. After a month or so of riding, I encountered an issue with my rear tire. Pedro offered to have a look at the rim at no charge. He also cleaned my bike, chain, and made a few minor adjustments to cables while inspecting the rim – amazing! A week later I left for my morning ride only to have the tire blow off the rim, and was unable to successfully repair the flat as the bead was damaged and unable to seat. Disappointed, I called the store and was told to drop it off for inspection. Within the hour of dropping it off, I received a call telling me the bike was ready. They had replaced the tire and tube with brand new ones from a display model as no one has anything in stock right now. The reason for the blow out was not overly clear, and my rim is left with several scratches as I was riding on gravel at the time, which is disappointing as it is otherwise still newish. Aside from the excellent pricing, I would absolutley recommend this company, and this location in particular for their exceptional customer service. These days, this seems difficult if not impossible to come by, so it is quite a relief to have found somewhere where these value are still upheld.

First time visiting Decathlon. Kind of odd finding out an unknown brand with such high prices on some items, other prices are just ok. Nice store though.

This store is excellently layed out and there are always ample staff to assist people. Kids love to ride scooters in their indoor rink and try out other things before we buy.

Ok. There is something wrong here ! The prices are from the 90’s. Better come shop before the owners realize it !!! Variety of sports clothes and the prices are way too good ! Great staff and I think this is just a dream. Gonna go back tomorrow to see if it was real.

This was my first time going into the store and wow was I disappointed. I was looking for an inline skating helmet and I was looking all over the store very lost and no employees came to assist. They were all standing behind the register just talking. Then I finally found the helmet and I’m struggling to reach because it’s at the top, again the employees were just standing there. it was only until I asked them for help did they come grab it but didn’t ask if I needed help or anything. If it was busy I would understand but there was no other person in the store except me. This is my first time rollerblading and I wanted to get other items but I won’t be back.

Amazing place for sports/outdoors apparel and gear! Also, a great selection online 🙂 got wetsuits, hiking shoes and am seriously coveting their camping gear. They also have hunting and fishing and much more 👍🏻👍🏻

Most reasonable store with reasonable prices. They do not rip off clients. I had issues with one of the weight plate. They were ready to process the return free. I liked their service. I will not be sending back the plate as i can manage with it.

I contacted Decathlon in Burlington about an issue with their shipping of bikes to Ontario (which had been on hold for some reason) and they were able to figure it out within 24hrs. They were also able to assist me with a bike order and they were very helpful. Their customer service is above what most other places have, and is more than what one, as a costumer, would hope to get. Thank you Kaushal and Pedro!

One of the best retail experiences I’ve ever had. Staff were courteous and knowledgeable at all times, answering questions and helping me out. The products are good quality and well-priced. I went in for a bike and came out with a ton of good camping stuff that didn’t break the bank. Exceptional customer service when I had an issue with my bike light. One of the staff members went above and beyond the call of duty to help me get it fixed quickly and perfectly. Highly recommend shopping here.

After my first terrible experience with the online customer service, that lead me to leave an initial negative review, the company was nice to quickly call me and address the situation. I’m glad they were humble to recognize the mistake made in my first experience and offer me a solution. Changing the review to 4-stars for quickly addressing the situation. Original post: I needed a couple ski helmets and after looking the options under Decathlon’s website I decided to buy their mid-tier PST500 model. Usually I would go to the store, see it in person before buying it, but this current lockdown limited us to online shopping only. I received the product about a week later and the quality is not even close to what I was expecting. Very cheaply made, padding is from the worst material you can find. I felt extremely disappointed and contacted Decathlon the same day I received the product. Decathlon said they are not taking helmets returns and simply offered zero options to solve the issue. This is the worst customer service I received in my life. I never saw a company putting zero effort whatsoever to solve and issue related to a low quality product dissatisfaction. Just to be sure they were not wiling to solve the issue, I replied to their email asking if nothing could be done and they couldn’t care less about their customer’s satisfaction. This care less extends to their website where it’s not even possible to write a review about the product to warn other possible buyers. You think Decathlon would be thankful for your purchase with them during Covid-19 times, but they simply don’t give a s*** to what you think or your satisfaction, they just want to get their product out the door. Unfortunately you lost a customer forever. I should have gone with Sportchek that never let me down. Just a prove that those $15/$20 bucks you save can cost you a lot more.
