Wow, am really surprised to see these negative google reviews. I recently ordered a dress over the phone, had brilliant customer service, got it delivered (interstate) the very next day and everything was perfect. I decided to call them again to personally thank the sales assistant who served me and was really shocked to notice these complaints. I had the total opposite experience and I’m happy to say I’ll be buying from them again.

I had such a great experience here. I find dress shopping very stressful and usually have an awful time but everyone working in the store made a huge effort to help me out. I had multiple workers helping me find the right dress. One in particular, Chyna, went out of her way to help me out. She was so positive and friendly and kept coming back with options the entire time I was in the store (which was a long time). I finally found the perfect dress and couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the service I received.

I had the same experience as the last review. I purchased a dress online during their sale; after eight days, I received an email that the dress was no longer available, and I was provided with a $20 voucher for the inconvenience. I was advised I would be notified if the dress became available again. However, I noticed two weeks later that the dress had been restocked (not notified). I contacted Coco & Lola to confirm if this was correct, as I still wanted to purchase the dress, although I didn’t want to go through the process of waiting eight days to be told it wasn’t actually available,14 days to be refunded or paying more for the same dress I purchased two weeks earlier. Two emails and over a week and a half later, I haven’t heard a thing?! If you’re in the business of selling dresses, why are you making it so hard for customers to do exactly that?

Went in looking for a dress for an engagement party, I was greeted straight away by 2 sales assistants. I ended up being served by China who found all the dresses I was looking for and made some extra recommendations- I ended up buying the one she picked out, its absolutely stunning. I honestly dont know why they have so many bad reviews. I was putting off dress shopping as I hadnt been feeling great about myself but all the girls made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. They have an amazing collection of clothes and accessories, dont let the negative reviews put you off.

Bad online experience, they promise express delivery and dispatch within 48 hours. It has been over a week and my order has not been shipped. Received an email last Monday saying top has a stain and would I still like it, I replied immediately and have sent follow up emails as I needed this order for an event and not one has been responded to in a week. Save your time and order elsewhere!

Bought a Camilla & Marc Jacket (ive wanted one for a long time) the June 22 sale came up so was perfect time ….it was clearly in stock when I purchased it. Eagerly waited for express shipping notification… nothing. Then suddenly got a refund notification without explanation as to why. (A delayed email came though to say garment was ‘unavailable’ across all boutiques) I don’t understand how it was in stock when I purchased it!! I’m completely devastated. I honestly feel like they let someone else take it when it should have been mine!!!! Argh.

Terrible service. Purchased a t-shirt online, waited a week before getting an update and then was sent an email saying that the t shirt I had purchased had been “sent for dry cleaning.” Instead of just getting me a new one? Waited another week with no update on when it was coming back from dry cleaners and then cancelled order. The size and t shirt were in stock so no idea why they didn’t just send another one. Most bizarre online shopping experience

I have twice taken my shy niece to purchase a formal frock at C & L. I am 57 hard core & expect good service. On both occasions we had the most outstanding service. The truly lovely staff ran after us looking for dresses to suit. NO hard sell. Asked what she liked & absolutely went the extra mile to find it. I need the young lassies to give advice( nobody wants to dress like their daggy auntie). The staff at Hawkesburn r Devine. I will be coming back again & bringing the sisters. Only reservation in writing this review- I don’t need more competition for the beautiful dresses! Thank you girls for your most genuine care & making my darling girl look beautiful & feel special. Purchased an item in the recent sale and had no dispatch notification on my order for 8 days so I followed up. They said it would be shipped that day and that they would email me. I followed up again 4 days later as had no further updates. They said it was due to go out by end of day and call me back to confirm. I didn’t get a call back, instead I got an email notifying that they had refunded the item as they didn’t actually have it and they gave me a $20 store credit. Unless I had of followed up multiple times would I have ever even heard back? Plus a $20 credit is hardly enough to soften the blow or entice me to shop at Coco & Lola again when most dresses are upwards of $400.

Unhelpful, unprofessional, unpleasant outright RUDE. Staff Couldn’t be less interested in the customers or helping them in any way. Lucky my mum and sister in law were there to help with sizing. Needless to say didn’t purchase in store will buy directly off the brands website. (Or anywhere else.) such a shame as they do carry beautiful stock.

Awful customer service! I came in looking for a few dresses for upcoming summer events. I went around the store, tried on 8-10 different dresses and not one person even spoke to me or said hello the whole time I was in the store. It was 4:30 on a quiet Thursday not peak time. They were just talking amoung themselves, ignoring customers. There were two dresses I wanted to purchase. However, I couldn’t get anyone’s attention to obtain different sizes so I will go directly to the brands online stores.

I visited the store yesterday to find my year 12 formal dress, and I loved it!! Not really one to write reviews but the bad ones on google are not up to standard. The boutique could not have been more beautiful, organised and stunning. They had a huge range of gowns I was looking for and a wide range of every day, stunning clothes. All of the shop assistants were the most stunningly gorgeous group of girls ever, as they were incredibly helpful and supportive of everyone in the store. They can lend you heels to try on with a dress and will try to support very need you have. Overall Amazing experience!!!

I never write reviews but felt that the lack of service I experienced today needed to be documented. I booked a bridesmaids fitting 3 week in advance, for 8:30am and no one turned up. I had organised this fitting for my sister’s bridal lunch/wedding shopping day and it was a terrible way to start our morning. I tried calling the store, left messages and then gave up after 20 minutes of standing out the front. We went and got a coffee and then returned at about 9.20am. We knocked on the door and the sales assistant signalled to us that they opened at 9.30am. My cousin then said through the door that we had an appointment. The sales assistant opened the door and seemed confused and wasn’t overly apologetic. She went and got her co-worker who was apologetic and explained that there was a communication issue from management. I’m not sure how our booking wasn’t reviewed in the days leading up to the weekend. We only had 10 minutes to try on dresses before our next booking at another store. I’m so glad we had impeccable service at the next shop we visited which turned our morning around, as we left Coca and Lola feeling annoyed and flat. Safe to say I won’t be returning!

This review is purely for the online warehouse sale. One word – deceptive! My example comes from actually having the Acler top and skirt combo, which i bought for full price 2 months ago. The top is $250 RRP and the skirt is $295 RRP however, the warehouse sale has it has $495 and $395 with a discounted price of $169! Wow HUGE SALE RIGHT? wrong! Next gripe, their “fit guide” is completely wrong! It shows a model wearing the outfit and says that Acler is standard size and that shes wearing an 8! That cant be right because im bigger than this model and i had to buy a 6! This is completely deceiving for people buying online and is UNLAWFUL! get it right guys!

“WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED” My cousin booked a bridesmaid fitting 3 weeks in advance for a 8:30am fitting as we were told we had to make an appointment outside of the regular hours. We arrived promptly at 8:30am and no-one was in store- not even close. This was a very special appointment for a bride and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. We tried calling the store, left several messages and after 20 minutes standing out the front we decided to get a coffee and come back at 9:30am when trading opened. When we arrived back at the store, we were extremely surprised to see a photo shoot happening behind the gate next to the store with a professional photographer. Clearly we hadn’t been made a priority and staff were more concerned about getting content for their ‘instagram page.’ We made eye contact with one of the sales assistants where she was immediately rude and shooed us away saying they weren’t open, to which we replied that we had an ‘appointment.’ The sales assistant opened the door and seemed confused and wasn’t overly apologetic. She just left us at the door to get a co-worker who also didn’t apologise, and they simply blamed their manager for going on holidays and not communicating the booking. As we only had 10 minutes until our next bridal fitting, instead of apologising and gathering sample dresses and heels for us to try on, we were left standing in the middle of the store with little to no help what so ever! VERY DISAPPOINTING. When we proceeded to the dressing rooms, we were never offered any assistance when trying on several styles in a very rushed and stressful manner, instead the sales staff acted liked we were an annoyance, and when we asked questions about the styles of dresses and to be given heels, we were met with some extremely unprofessional behaviour. When we went to our next bridal fitting, upset and shocked we recounted our experience to the sales staff, to which they replied that they were ‘not surprised’ about our experience and that Coco and Lola ‘have that sort of reputation.’ I have never been treated so rudely, and unprofessionally in a store that is supposed to be of a ‘high calibre.’ I would advise anyone who is contemplating shopping or booking a bridal appointment at this store to strongly reconsider. Myself, the Birde and other bridesmaids will never shop or visit this store again.I strongly urge the manager and sales staff to put half the effort into their ‘photoshoots’ and attend proper sales and etiquette training.

Went in with my partner and the staff were standing around gossiping and helping model like girls rather than my short petit girlfriend. They were condescending when asked size she said “usually 6-8” and girl was like “oh sorry I thought you were my bad of course you’re smaller” it’s gross. This shop is gross

Beautiful stock that you can buy elsewhere! I rarely write reviews however…… we waited over one HOUR to try ONE dress on after girls taking 10+ items in at a time with their friend. The Manager was lacking in confidence and skill to make a professional call and limit try ons due to high wait times and frustrated customers. Manager in my opinion was incompetent to run the store without a senior. I would have left if I didn’t travel an hour and if the dress was not for a bridesmaid!

Amazing experience I had in Store today from both Molly and Charlotte. Super friendly and very helpful. Loved the knit I bought. If you have never bought a knit from them before……. do yourself a favour and head In store to check out their beautiful Winter knits. I have bought a few from here and have always been super happy.

Gorgeous clothes and the sale prices are good! Mostly great service in store. Very fast shipping when you shop online or via phone (just make sure you ask them for a shipping confirmation and tracking number as they otherwise won’t send you one). The only issue is – their inventory. During sale periods, they will take their stock inventory as being 100% correct. I ended up purchasing 3 items which were showing as out of stock online but had to call around and ask them to check their racks – a couple were very reluctant (“no hun, the inventory is correct, it’s out of stock”) but upon pressing them to check the actual racks it turned out they had several of the item in stock in multiple sizes. For all 3 items I bought during this sale period, the inventory was never correct. In fact, one item I bought online I was refunded the next day and told it was a discrepancy and that someone had bought the last one, they were out of stock. Good thing I called up the store and pressed them to check the racks as they had one there. Shipping was very prompt after that.

Pounced on and asked the exact same question by 4 maybe even 5 different Coco and Lola employees. It’s actually embarrassing that they feel they need to harass you in order to buy the amazing clothes. There’s no happy medium – it’s either over service to the point you want to laugh and exit or it’s no service at all. Sorry girls, won’t be shopping in the store again!

Ordered a dress online on a Wednesday before an event that weekend. I emailed just after I placed my order to see if there was any chance of getting it in time, and I received a lovely and very fast reply, and received my dress the next day. Online shopping experience 10/10. Incredible range of styles, quick and very detailed chat response, diverse size models (all beautiful none the less however this makes it SO much easier to shop online), speedy delivery and gorgeous packaging. I also received a really kind handwritten note of gratitude in my package (thankyou Elyse) as well as emails of acknowledgment. A really beautiful and special touch given the year Victorians have had. To the girls at Coco & Lola, Thankyou for making online shopping more than just a transaction. Its an absolute pleasure.

The store is stunning and the clothes are beautiful, however the staff are INCREDIBLY rude. I came here today with a friend looking for formal dresses and upon arrival we were not greeted or asked if we need any help, instead we were greased off and ignored. My friend who kindly asked for help with sizing was rudely dismissed and was spoken down to as if we were children. Also we found that everyone else in the store was being served yet we were clearly being ignored and repeatedly received dirty looks as if we were not worthy of being in the store. The vibe was extremely bad and the only reason I would ever go back to this store is to try on a specific dress, but in the meantime ill stick to the online shop x

Online buyers beware. Do NOT shop online with this store. They do NOT offer refunds. Bought a dress in their 20% sale and the dress didn’t fit me. They had none left to offer me the size up and most dresses in the same price range all sold out my size to swap for another dress. I need this outfit for an event. I was then told bad luck and the credit note will last 3 years to spend in store. I am now out of pocket $$$ with no dress for my event. Worst online service. You would better buying from elsewhere that offers refunds.

First review ever. Don’t usually bother, however, my experience here was appalling! Honestly the most horrendous service! Was served by the ‘manager’ ‘Tilly’ (I think that was what she said her name was) and she has a sassy attitude! Eye rolling and a fake personality. She was slow, offering little information about the product when I asked and walked out to get a coffee while I was in the changing room. Didn’t return for over 20 minutes. I have been shopping here for many years with my friends, and none of us will be back while the store is ran in a way like that! A free bit of advice, get someone who is professional and mature running the store. Other than that, love the current range… A Shame to say the least

Completely understand the policy of ‘no refunds’ and can definitely respect that. But when you call over the phone and advise that you usually wear a 6 but are unsure if you should get that or go up a size and the retail assistant advises that you should get the 8 (“even go up to a 10 and it will be fine”) without having ever seen you or know you’re sizing it seems a bit strange. Maybe advise to come in and see rather than to go up a size. And then when the dress comes (got the 8) and it’s way too big (and you’ve since sold out of the 6) and your team is extremely unhelpful and unwilling to assist with a solution, it’s terrible customer service. It actually just comes down to genuinely wanting to help someone and being decent. The dress is brand new and there would have been no issue for you team to sell it again. Completely ruined an event for my sister – so disgusted in the service of your team.

Just visited and found the customer service appalling!!! At least six staff working and not even a single smile, or assistance once the dresses had been put in the fitting room. For that many staff surely you should have one on one assistance. Walked out in disgust and wasn’t even queried about how we went. Wasted opportunity as stock should be flying out the door with the right staff!!!

I ordered some outfits from the E-Boutique as I live in QLD and the service I have received is amazing. The girls – particularly Georgie – are so accommodating, kind, understanding and helpful and I will happily order again with confidence and I will recommend Coco and Lola to anyone. Typical self righteous behaviour that you would expect from retail staff who seem too disinterested to pay attention to you unless you looked like you were actually going to purchase something. Even had the pleasure of one girl hover around me whilst the jewellery cabinet was open as if I was going to ?pinch something. Everything is overpriced because I assume the rental of the space is high. Shop online people, save yourselves from the rude behaviour.

This brand advertises “site wide sales”, as well as new stock and then promptly removes all of the new stock from the sale. If you want to have a “last season’s stock” sale do that. Don’t bait customers with new items and then remove them so as to call the sale “site wide”.

Have been trying to get in contact with the company/head office via email, phone and Instagram with no success about exchanging an item which they are out of stock of. Their automated response mentions 48 hours except it has been almost 7 business days. Will definitely not be buying from them again considering the no service I’ve received.
