This store is good for fresh south Asian vegetables. and fruits. They also have others vegetables too. Variety of species, snacks are available here. Indian cook ware are very good quality. Store size is medium. They always keep it neat and clean. Reasonable price. Very good customer service. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. There are some parking spots available including para parking. I always go to this store. Recommend others to try this store.

Overall decent place to shop but if you`re buying packed food then don`t forget to check the expiry date. Got few thing a day ago and later on realized that half of them were expired (it wasn`t like it just got expired, they were expired like 4 months ago). P.S. no need to follow up. I`m not looking for a refund, coz I`m not coming back to your store again!!

I have been there many times and one thing I find everytime is the expired items. I understand, it takes a lot of cost to bring stuff from Asia and sell them before getting expired but please don’t play with the health of your customers. Selling expired stuff for a dollar or two won’t make you rich but you might Loose your customer as you already did many a times. So, a humble request, please keep a track on your selling items which are going to expire soon. Rest we are just customers and will still be coming.

Thieves! They always charge you for wrong items. Upon checking my receipt after I left the store I noticed they charged me for Thai chillies (because they cost more) when in fact I bought regular green chillies. Not worth it for me to drive back to get a refund of a dollar, but this is thievery. How many customers do you loot per day?

Very good Indian and subcontinent store for all kind of daily needs. Vegetables are always fresh and reasonable priced. The only thing which I found wrong about it is that they put the expired items or soon going to expire within a month on sale otherwise very good store.

Went there to buy Indian stuff. They have almost every Indian grocery readily available. Very good customer service. Great experience and Good service. Indian groceries are easily available here . The staff working in aisles are really helpful, whenever I need help finding something they are always there to help you. Vegetables are usually fresh…….

I love the store, and before the pandemic I loved the restaurant. The kitchen is still open, although recently limited to takeout. The store has everything from subcontinent culinary essentials to cookware. I even bought my cricket bat there. They stock everything you need to make great food. I don’t know if they do wholesale.

I was happy to see Indian grocery store open close to our place. Been this place many times and most of the times looking for product and trying to chase staff inside the store who are more busy in chatting among themselves and not paying attention to store guests. It doesn’t feel welcome when you have to literally chase down staff to locater product.

Best place in Edmonton to shop Indian items. You find everything from Indian vegetables (Okra(bhindi), Tindi (Tendli), Drumsticks, Indian Green chillies), All Indian spices (Loose spices, Shan, MDH, Eastern, Everest), pickles, ready to eat items (Haldiram’s, Gits) to chips, khakras, papads, farsaan items, lassi etc. They also have variety of frozen items (Indian sweets, fish, goat meat, kabab etc.). The only reason i took off two stars from 5 is because they need to do a better job greeting their customers with a smile on Face. Set up high standards of this store please so that everybody feel welcomed. Need to do better on store clean up too Food pricing is perfect. They are always in a rush and never polite. They dont practice any attempt to social distance and when packaging their sweets its about what is easier for them than what is best. Example mixing glabjamen with the rest not in a separate bag. One time it would be great if the people behind the counter actually seemed like they were happy you were there.

Compared to other East Indian stores in the city, this one is quite clean and well maintained. There were no expired merchandise on the shelves and overall prices were good. However, there were a lot of things that were not available here which are usually available at other stores and the labeling of where to find what merchandise was crazy. If you are looking for something specific and do not want to browse the whole store for it, simply ask the store employees, trust me, it’ll save you ton of time!!

Good market. Located in a clean area. It has most of indian products. Vegetables also come from india and they are fresh too. It has a mini shop in between where we can eat samosa,kachori,gol gappe, chai and coffee etc. A large variety of products are there but they have less space. Everything is stacked till roof. But otherwise they have almost everything and rates are also pocket friendly.

Ive been going here since i was a kid and still will. Im giving 2 stars when i would give 5 typically because uncle and his family have been serving the East Indian community for over 30 yrs. I bought a 40$ green laichi med sized packet. Thats a significant increase (usually near $20). Called back in front of my wife on speaker phone who heard the whole convo.. “nai bhaji certain items you cannot find anywhere else… we lowered only this one is high because kithe mildi nai…” This was during the pandemonium panic buying times (one month ago). This is called price gouging and can be reported. My wife called back later to return it next day and the lady adamantly refused that they ever increased the price that high. Not helpful when economy is hit hard.
